HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Early morning Wednesday, Hendersonville police responded to a call of a woman awaking to find a stranger in her apartment on 1037 Center Point Rd.
Police responded to the call and were able to apprehend Michael D. McKissack, 20, as he attempted to flee the area.
The investigation revealed McKissack had covertly entered or tried to enter at least three apartments in the area. McKissack was found to be in possession of a stolen iPod from one of the apartments.
McKissack was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated burglary, simple assault, theft under $500 and vandalism under $500.
McKissack was transported to Sumner County Jail pending a Sept. 12 court date. His bond was set at $30,000.
