NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police and the FBI have arrested three suspects in the July 24 shooting and robbery at the Pinnacle Bank in Hermitage.

The robbery occurred at the Pinnacle National Bank in the 4700 block of Andrew Jackson Parkway.

Chad Warrick, 31; Angela Camarda, 30; and Cynthia Heinz, 37, are charged in federal court with bank robbery.

Investigators said the three suspects planned the robbery together, and Warrick and Camarda were staying at Heinz's north Nashville home.

Police said Warrick entered the bank and shouted, "no police," as he made his way to the teller windows. A female teller who hid behind a conference room door was injured while taking cover as Warrick fired a gunshot in her direction.

The bullet did not hit anyone and lodged in a nearby wall, according to police spokesman Don Aaron. After firing the shot, Warrick robbed another teller and fled the bank.

Police said Warrick was wearing dark makeup, spray tan or a similar substance to darken his face and hands to conceal his identity.

After robbing the bank, Warrick is alleged to have fled in a light silver Pontiac Grand Prix, with Heinz acting as the alleged getaway driver. Police said the vehicle was recovered Wednesday from Heinz's home.

The three suspects have a federal court hearing set for Thursday afternoon.

Police credit tips and information from citizens for assisting in the suspects' arrest. Officials had offered a $5,000 reward for information in the investigation.

"Since the robbery on Tuesday of last week, Crime Stoppers received nearly a dozen anonymous tips. In the end, that community involvement, combined with outstanding investigative work, led to these three persons being taken into custody," said Metro Police Chief Steve Anderson, in a news release.

All three suspects have prior convictions on file in Middle Tennessee. Warrick has been convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery and felony drug possession in Wilson County; Heinz was convicted of multiple counts of obtaining drugs by fraud in DeKalb County, welfare fraud in Wilson County and theft in Davidson County; and Camarda was convicted of two counts of forgery and obtaining drugs by fraud in Wilson County.
