BRENTWOOD, TN (WSMV) -
A woman has died after she was hit by a car while walking along Old Hickory Boulevard in Brentwood on Monday night.
The pedestrian, identified as Ricki Dawn Uselton, 22, of Spring Hill, TN, was hit at about 9:15 p.m. near Brentwood Chase Drive.
Investigators said it appears Uselton, who had been driving her 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, pulled off of Old Hickory Boulevard into the entrance of the Brentwood Chase Apartments.
For some reason, she then walked onto Old Hickory Boulevard and was struck by a westbound 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Shawndra Moore, 26, of Joelton.
Uselton was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died Tuesday.
No charges have been placed against Moore.
