COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -

A club in Maury County where two people have been fatally wounded has been padlocked.

Our partners at The Daily Herald said The Country Club Restaurant and Lounge had a SWAT team standing guard Friday while it was padlocked.

This is the same club where Michelle Talavera was shot in the head on June 24.

The district attorney's office filed a temporary injunction on Friday. If the investigation proves to have enough evidence that the club is a public nuisance, then it could be closed for good.

Part of the investigation is that the club was operating under an expired county business license, and the city has no record of a city business license at all.

The county court date is set for Wednesday at 9 a.m.
