A taxi driver described a harrowing tale of being held up at gunpoint at an Antioch apartment complex late Saturday evening.
The driver said a woman contacted his cab company about a ride, but when he arrived at the complex on Antioch Pike, she was nowhere to be found.
Instead, the victim said two men pointed guns in his face and demanded money.
The crooks went to the cab to rip off the victim's phone, wallet, briefcase and house keys.
Fearing for his life, the victim said he ran away when he had the opportunity.
Police said the taxi driver was rushed to the hospital to be checked out for breathing problems.
The victim said he remained shaken up by the whole situation and hoped police would catch the robbers soon.
