A Williamson County bank was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning, and police are looking for the thief.
The robbery occurred at 11 a.m. at the Renasant Bank located at 9135 Carothers Pkwy.
Police said a tall, slender white male approached a teller, presented a pistol and demanded cash. The teller complied with the robber, who left without incident.
Authorities said the man was wearing a black baseball cap, black cloth covering his face, white long-sleeve button-down shirt and blue jeans.
Franklin police and the FBI are investigating.
