Titans WR Kenny Britt arrested at Fort Campbell - WSMV Channel 4

Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is in trouble with the law again.

Britt was arrested early Friday morning near the Fort Campbell military base, according to the public affairs department at the post.

Britt's driving prompted the military police to issue a field sobriety test. The wide receiver was taken into custody and charged with DUI and implied consent at 3:30 a.m. as he tried to access the base through Gate 4.

When he was then taken into custody, he refused a breathalyzer test. Since the incident happened in Kentucky, proper state guidelines were followed for DUI/implied consent procedure.

Britt's vehicle was impounded on post, and MPs escorted Britt off the premises.

The charges have been forwarded to the Central Violations Bureau in Kentucky, who will issue a court date and summons for him to appear in U.S. District Court, which is on post at Ft. Campbell.

The Titans issued a brief statement Friday morning that said, "We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering more facts."

Britt has had legal trouble in the past. He has had seven previous incidents involving police since 2009.
