NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Metro Sex Crimes detectives have charged a south Nashville man with the rape of a 29-year-old woman who he offered to drive home last January from a downtown Nashville bar.
Jassim Al-Raash, 47, of Edmondson Pike, is accused of driving the victim to a park near his residence where he forced her out of the car and raped her in a wooded area. Al-Raash is presently being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Sex Crimes detectives believe it is possible that Al-Raash has victimized other women after offering to drive them home in his maroon/red Dodge Intrepid.
Anyone with information about him is urged to contact the Sex Crimes Unit at 862-7540.
