GOLDEN POND, Ky. (AP) - Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area is asking for public comment on ways to save money.
Land Between The Lakes says hundreds of comments and ideas have already been contributed as it tries to find ways to live with a budget reduction.
Area Supervisor Bill Lisowsky says the LBL website includes the list of cuts, ideas and fee increases that will keep Land Between The Lakes within its budget.
Now management is offering another chance for the public to provide input. To review the proposals, visit http://www.lbl.org/documents/FINALFeedbackTable2012_0705.pdf , then email comments to comments-southern-land-between-lakes(at)fs.fed.us or mail to Area Supervisor, Lane Between the Lakes, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY 42211.
