CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Two motorcycle riders lost their lives in separate crashes on Sunday.
Metro police said Andre Vaughn, 54, died when a woman turned in front of him at the intersection of Dickerson Pike and Bellshire Drive.
The driver told investigators she never saw Vaughn and his motorcycle.
Crash in Clarksville
In Montgomery County, police said a motorcyclist lost control on a curve and died Sunday afternoon.
Joseph Allen Weyand, 42, of Clarksville crashed on Swift Drive at 1:37 p.m. while traveling north.
A witness said Weyand leaned to negotiate a curve, lost control and went off the right side of the road into a yard.
Weyand then hit a cement culvert, causing his motorcycle to go airborne. He died at the scene.
