BOWLING GREEN, KY (WSMV) -

A Bowling Green woman accused of leaving 19 kids home alone for about a week without food or air conditioning may face more charges.

Jackie Farah, 32, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Monday.

Farah is charged with 19 counts of child abuse and endangerment after police said a neighbor alerted authorities that children had been left alone at Farah's house while she traveled out of state.

Deputies found the kids, ranging in age from 8 months to 14 years old, with no supervision, no food and no air conditioning.

Nine dogs and a cat were removed from the home, too, and the county prosecutor said the case may grow.

"I think once the grand jury hears the totality of the circumstances and views all the evidence in the case, there are many additional charges that may be forthcoming," said Warren County Commonwealth Attorney Chris Cohron.

Deputies also have a warrant out for Farah's husband to question him in connection with the case.
