Trooper Ronnie Hale
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is mourning one of its own. Trooper Ronnie Hale, 57, died Friday after suffering a heart attack while on duty.
THP officials said Hale was stationed in White County and had been with the highway patrol for 15 years.
"It is a very sad day for the Tennessee Highway Patrol family," said Colonel Tracy Trott. "We are grateful for his dedication and service to the state. Our prayers go out to his family during this difficult time."
Hale, a Crossville native, was an Air Force veteran and is survived by two children and four grandchildren.
