DICKSON, TN (WSMV) -
Fire investigators responded to a deadly house fire in Dickson early Sunday.
Just after midnight, a fire broke out at a home on Eastwood Drive.
When firefighters arrived, flames were visible throughout the structure. The roof caved in shortly after first responders got to the scene.
According to a spokesman, firefighters found a woman's remains in the rear of the home.
A family member identified the victim as Peggy Clarkson.
Clarkson's husband, Charles, died in May during a head-on collision on Highway 70.
