16-year-old runaway missing in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Clarksville are requesting the public's assistance to locate a 16-year-old runaway who was last seen early Friday morning.

Investigators said Meghan Crawford, 16, was last spotted in her bedroom at her Ann Drive home  around 12:10 a.m.

Her parents told police around 12:15 a.m., they heard a thud upstairs, went to check on their daughter, found the window open and Megan was gone.  They believe she jumped out of the second-story window and then left in a car.

The family told police that someone who knew Megan saw and spoke to her at a store on Ft. Campbell Boulevard on Sunday. She was in the company of a thin. white man who had brown, shoulder-length hair and braces.

Megan has some medical problems and does not have her medications with her and may be a danger to herself, said police.
