One person was shot and another injured in an incident at a country music singer-songwriter's home Sunday night.
Investigators with Franklin police and the Williamson County Sheriff's Department said the shooting occurred at 2250 South Berrys Chapel Rd.
According to records, the estate is owned by country music singer-songwriter Tom T. Hall. Police said Hall wasn't involved in the shooting and not home when the incident occurred.
A man and woman, who are staying there, and their guest were writing songs and playing music, according to investigators. There was reportedly a fight, and a woman shot the guest in the knee, according to police.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. The husband was injured, but not shot, and taken to Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. The woman was taken into custody by police.
Police have not released the names of the people involved.
