NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Saturday's been the busiest day for heat calls for Vanderbilt officials, with more than 300 attendees at CMA Music Festival dealing with heat issues.

According to Vanderbilt spokesman Jerry Jones, 339 people made contact with medical teams today, and five were serious enough to be transported by ambulance to the hospital.

On Friday, 272 people were treated for heat issues and five were transported by ambulance, Vanderbilt officials said.

Experts remind everyone to take frequent breaks from the sun and to stay hydrated, as well as wear cool, loose clothing and hats.
