Friday's recipe (6/8/12) - Aimee Fortney's homemade peach-mango frozen yogurt

Posted: Updated:

Hot days call for cool treats, but this is one you can make in the comfort of your own home for pennies on the dollar!  Skip the drive thru or fancy frozen yogurt places, this is too easy not to make it yourself!

AIMEE FORTNEY'S HOMEMADE PEACH-MANGO FROZEN YOGURT
This is so delicious, you might never want to spend $5.00 (or more) to buy a single serving of frozen yogurt!  Use any fruit that you desire!

1 1/2 cups Greek Vanilla Bean Yogurt (I use Cabot brand because it is inexpensive and delicious)
1 cup frozen sliced peaches
1 cup frozen sliced (or cubed) mango
1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar (you may use honey to sweeten mixture instead of sugar; I think it tastes delicious in this, too)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Blend all ingredients in food processor.  Place back in Greek Yogurt container, or any plastic container you have, with a lid.  Freeze for 45 minutes to an hour and your soft-serve, delicious frozen yogurt is ready!
