NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police have taken more than 7,000 prescription pills off the street, and the bust also led them to a big shoe collection.

Richard Allen Williams, 27, and his girlfriend Brittany McCool, 26, are accused of taking part in a drug deal earlier this month.

West Precinct officers said they found the couple by investigating lower-level drug pushers.

When they got permission to search Williams' home on Almaville Road in Smyrna, they found more than 200 high-end athletic shoes, along with several televisions and vehicles.

Officers said the seized drugs included Lortab, Xanax and Oxycodone.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation filed four felony drug counts against the couple in Rutherford County for the drugs found at the Smyrna home.
