Vineyard Vines, the Connecticut-based clothing company, is hosting a special event Thursday ahead of the Iroquois Steeplechase to benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The party is set from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vineyard Vines store in Green Hills, located at 4015 Hillsboro Pike.
The company is offering 10 percent off all merchandise and will donate 10 percent of the day's proceeds back to the Iroquois and the hospital.
Also, there will be plenty of live music from songwriter Nate King, food from Zoe's Kitchen, cold beverages and, of course, special help on how to tie a bowtie.
The Iroquois Steeplechase is Saturday, May 12, at Percy Warner Park.
