Victim's name released in fatal Cheatham Co. wreck

PLEASANT VIEW, TN (WSMV) -

A passenger was killed and six others were injured after a car and truck crashed Wednesday afternoon in Pleasant View.

The wreck was reported at around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Old Clarksville Pike and Highway 49 East, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson said a pickup truck, driven by Joshua A. Duke, 28, of Springfield, TN, collided with a car that was carrying four people.  Duke had one passenger in his truck that was also injured.

One passenger in the car, John David Ruben Green, 17, was killed.  The car was driven by Jeffrey L. Goad, 21, of Ashland City, TN.

LifeFlight helicopters responded to transport some of the victims.
