One arrested in gang-related shooting

CHATTANOOGA -

(WRCB) – Chattanooga Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a shooting Tuesday.

Nineteen-year-old Demetrius Bibbs was arrested Wednesday for the shooting of 18-year-old Guy Wilkerson on 4th Avenue.

Investigators told Channel 3 on Tuesday they believed the shooting was gang-related.

Bibbs has been charged with attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated assault, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
