Vandy to host forum on autism awareness, research

April is Autism Awareness Month and Vanderbilt is marking it with a free forum on autism research.

The event is set for Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the One Magnolia Circle building, room 241.

According to a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the prevalence of children with autism has increased. New data suggests one in 88 children has autism.
