Metro works to solve city's public transportation

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Some lucky folks in Nashville have solved the mystery of Music City's public transportation.

The University School of Nashville hosted a free class on Saturday teaching about the non-car transportation options in the metro.

Nashville Mayor Karl Dean was on hand to let folks know what options are available and what's coming in the future.

"There are a lot of studies coming out right now," he said. "It helps our economy and makes us a more viable, attractive city."

The city's next big mass transit project in the works is the East-West connector.

It's a bus rapid transit system connecting east and west Nashville.
