Nashville has been looking for a new library director for several months, and now the city has its choice.
Oliver Kent was named director of the Nashville Public Library Tuesday.
Kent will be taking over this summer for Donna Nicely, who retired after 16 years on the job.
Oliver was director at the Stark County District Library in Canton, OH, and he has more than 35 years of library experience, including work in the Kansas City area and Columbia, MO.
