NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
More than one hundred Vanderbilt students and affiliates plan to rally on the steps of the university's administration building.
A press release sent out on Sunday stated "Occupy Vanderbilt" will set up tents at the chancellor's building among others.
"We see injustice in the 1:315 ratio in income inequality between its highest paid employee and lowest paid employees in 2008," according to the statement.
In recent "occupy" developments, the state legislature passed a law banning camping on legislative plaza.
The Vanderbilt "occupy" movement says it's addressing poverty income among workers, unfair treatment by management and unethical practices in employment.
