CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men were arrested in Clarksville after police said they forced their way into a mobile home and assaulted the residents with a baseball bat early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a residence on Cedarcrest Drive regarding an aggravated assault at about 3:50 a.m.

When officers arrived, they were told that two men had forced their way into the mobile home. The two men, who knew some of the mobile home occupants, assaulted two men, 21 and 22 years old with a baseball bat and fled from the scene in a white Ford Mustang.

Police spotted the vehicle and pulled it over on Kraft Street. The vehicle and occupants matched the description given to officers by the victims. There was also a baseball bat with blood on it found inside of the vehicle.

The suspects were identified as Antonio Toledo-Gonzales, 22, and 25-year-old Martin Toledo-Gonzales. Both are charged with aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.  Bond is set at $30,000.

The two victims had head wounds, were treated at the scene by EMS, but declined further medical attention.
