Metro police say five people have been arrested following an extensive investigation into a local cocaine operation and possible murder-for-hire scheme.
The alleged drug ring operated out of home in the 900 block of West Trinity Lane in north Nashville. There, police say they witnessed several drug transactions involving multiple kilograms of cocaine.
Also, an alleged plot by one of the accused drug dealers sought to pay another man to kill a previously convicted cocaine felon. Authorities discovered the plot and arrested the suspects prior to any violent attacks.
Justin Dewight Jones, 29, is charged with possession of cocaine for resale, conspiracy to sell cocaine and conspiracy to commit criminal homicide. He is jailed on $750,000 bond.
Ricardo Wiggins, 31, is charged with conspiracy to commit criminal homicide and is jailed on $250,000 bond.
Everardo Cruz Gante, 25, is charged with possessing cocaine for resale and conspiring to sell cocaine. He is jailed on $261,000 bond.
Antolin Sandoval, 34, is charged with engaging in a cocaine conspiracy. He is jailed on $100,000 bond.
Marcos Dealmonte is charged with felony marijuana and gun crimes. He is jailed on $40,000 bond.
