2 Nashville chefs up for regional award

Two local chefs are up for a coveted culinary award.

Tandy Wilson, chef at City House in Germantown, and Tyler Brown, of the Capitol Grille at the Hermitage Hotel, are in the semifinals for the 2012 James Beard Awards.

Wilson and Brown are up for the "Best Chef: Southeast" category.

The new restaurant "Catbird Seat" on Division Street is also in the semifinals of the "Best New Restaurant" category.

The finalists will be announced next month. Winners will be honored in May.
