Lebanon mother, children located after alert issued

LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -

A Lebanon mother and her two children were safely located in Nashville a day after an endangered child alert was issued Monday.

Authorities say the two children were placed into protective custody Monday, when their mother, Cindy Bates, 36, fled the area with them.

Bates and Cheyenne, 10, and Danny Scott, 4, are being taken back to Wilson County by the Lebanon Police Department.
