The man charged with the murder of a 9-month-old infant nearly two years ago was returned by officials to Tennessee to face the charges.

Randall Thomas Beaty, 27, of Hendersonville, was found living in a travel trailer belonging to a friend in Brookhaven, MS, police said.

Beaty is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse in the October 2010 death of his girlfriend's daughter by blunt force trauma to the head at his Hendersonville home.

Beaty's girlfriend, Amber Peveler, 29, later surrendered to authorities at the Sumner County Sheriff's Department. She was charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect as well as reckless endangerment and has an arraignment set for Feb. 24.
