Group lists female-friendly car dealerships

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Studies have shown that many women are often treated differently than men when trying to buy a vehicle.

Now the group "Women Certified," which bills itself as the voice of the female consumer, has come up with a list of the most female-friendly car dealers in the country.

Customers rated the dealerships on service and if they met the preferences of their female customers.

The only dealer in Tennessee that made the list was Don Ledford Automotive in Cleveland, TN. The only dealership that made the list in Kentucky is Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac in Bowling Green, KY.
