MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -
Both the state and the suspect's attorney agreed on a stipulation regarding social media and phone records in the case of a woman accused of stabbing a former Middle Tennessee State University basketball player last year.
Shanterrica Madden is accused of stabbing and killing MTSU Lady Raider Tina Stewart last spring.
Madden's attorney has requested for a change of venue for the trial because of pretrial publicity.
Madden's defense has also asked Judge Don Ash to recuse himself because of his ties to the university, but the judge has refused that request.
The murder charge against Shanterrica Madden is expected to go to trial in early May.
