Funeral scheduled today for retired Metro officer

GREENBRIER, TN (WSMV) -

A former Metro police officer will be laid to rest Monday following a deadly accident last week.

Randy Casteel died on Thursday after he fell from a ladder at his home. At the time of the accident, he was trying to hang a flag.

Casteel's funeral will be held at noon at the Greenridge Church of Christ in Greenbrier, TN. He'll then be buried at Robertson County Memorial Gardens.
