NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A blast of Arctic air is settling into Middle Tennessee that will keep high temperatures in the 30s this weekend.

The chilly air is associated with a system that will also leave areas of measurable snow along the Cumberland Plateau.
Nashville residents can expect to see some lingering flurries into the early morning hours of Saturday, but no more than a dusting is anticipated.
And a winter weather advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday for counties in southern Kentucky.
Snow Totals:
- Dusting in Nashville on lawns and rooftops
- Highland Rim, near Kentucky border, could see half inch to 1"
- 2" possible on Cumberland Plateau
- South of Nashville will likely see only a few flurries.
Saturday will be partly sunny but cold and a high in the low to mid-30s. Wind chills will be in the teens to around 20 all day on Saturday, with actual temperatures dropping to the mid teens by Sunday morning.
