Prisoner serving 37 years convicted in additional robberies

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man serving nearly four decades for stabbing a woman in a Target parking lot is facing even more jail time.

Timothy Kelly was found guilty of aggravated robbery and assault Thursday for robberies he committed Oct. 31, 2009 at 100 Oaks Mall and a nearby apartment complex on Thompson Lane.

Kelly was convicted last year of stabbing a woman he tried to rob outside the Target store on White Bridge Road, just days before those Halloween night attacks.

Kelly is currently serving 37 years for that crime, and he will be sentenced on these new convictions next month.
