
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The NFL has invited Tennessee seniors Malik Jackson and Tauren Poole to participate in the NFL scouting combine.
Jackson, a defensive lineman from Northridge, Calif., led the Volunteers in 2011 with 11 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hurries. He also recorded 56 tackles, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Poole, a running back from Toccoa, Ga., ran for 1,883 yards and 16 touchdowns in 49 career games. In 2011, he gained 693 yards rushing and caught 21 passes for 164 yards.
The combine is scheduled for Feb. 22-28 in Indianapolis.
