
Bananas Foster
Ingredients: 4 firm bananas, juice of one lemon, 2/3 cp packed brown sugar, ¼ cp butter, ¼ cp banana liquor, ¼ cp dark rum, cinnamon to taste
Directions: Cut bananas in half and brush with lemon juice. Set aside. Melt sugar and butter in a skillet, sprinkle with cinnamon and add banana liquor. Add bananas. Cook 2 minutes and turn. Repeat. Heat rum in separate sauce pan, add to bananas and ignite. Transfer to ice cream and serve immediately. Yields 4 servings
