NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A school bus hit a utility pole Monday morning on Bell Road, south of Elm Hill Pike, closing all eastbound lanes of traffic.

The crash occurred around 6 a.m. about a mile east of Nolensville Road. Westbound lanes are also partially blocked.
The utility pole went into the road, and a car hit it.
A bus monitor and the driver were the only people on board. Both suffered minor injuries. The driver who hit the pole was not hurt.
A sport-utility vehicle as crashed into a ditch when it swerved to avoid hitting the pole.
