NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
There is no greater music stage than the Super Bowl halftime show.
You gotta go big. So, NBC booked Madonna, then called a company in Nashville.
The Super Bowl halftime show has to be more than a singer and a microphone.
Madonna's voice, talent and potential for something shocking hold up her end of the show's promise.
But the light, laser and LED side of the show is straight from Nashville.
LMG Design Studio, just two months old, located on Lower Broad is a high octane frenetic floor room full of spectacle.
Sunglasses and ear plugs come in handy here.
Video, audio and lighting are what they do for big star shows worldwide. Madonna, looking for something different, signed them up months ago.
"That's the one crowing moment in the design studio's life, when we actually create something that never existed before," an LMG spokesman said.
The stars send their stage design team to pick the bright light styles that will elevate the show, and the audience decides if it works.
So you watched the halftime show. Will you remember it come 2013?
