Nashville has come up with an action plan to help guard residents from flooding like the devastation in May 2010.
Metro has pinpointed areas around town that are at risk and are working on projects to help reduce the damage during a flood.
After countless meetings and listening to Nashville residents, an action plan was developed, and Metro will hold meetings to share it.
The first meeting is scheduled for Feb. 16 at McGavock High School's cafeteria. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
On Feb. 23, a meeting will be held at the Bellevue Community Center at 6 p.m. Another will be held on Feb. 28 at the Looby Community Center on Metro Center Boulevard at 6 p.m.
