NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Students from Meharry's School of Dentistry will be offering free cleanings, screenings and sealants to kids in celebration of Children's Dental Health Month.

The services will take place each Monday in February.

The School of Dentistry at Meharry Medical College continues to be a national resource educating African-Americans and other minorities. The free service is Meharry's dental students' way of giving back to the community by improving oral health care in children.

Services will be performed by students from Meharry's School of Dentistry's Department of Pediatric Dentistry.

The free screenings and cleanings are available each Monday from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry at the intersection of Meharry Blvd. and Dr. D. B. Todd Jr. Blvd. To schedule an appointment call 615-327-6669 or 615-327-6900.
