Blackman High School's wrestling coach cleared by police

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

A Rutherford County High School coach who was accused of physically abusing his players has been cleared by police.

A student on the Blackman High School wrestling team claimed that Ronnie Bray forced players to bend over and hit them in the back of the neck as a form of discipline.

Murfreesboro police investigated the allegations, and said there was no criminal activity.

According to authorities, the case is now closed.
