Aimee Fortney's BLT & Country Girl Orange Margarita

Don't be afraid to serve your drinks in something different - like a mason jar, for something fun! As long as what's inside it tastes good, the delivery is just for show! Put it in a mason jar and call it a "Country Girl Margarita" like I did!

AIMEE FORTNEY'S TWIST ON BLT - SPINACH, AVOCADO AND BACON!

My husband knows how much I love avocado, so one day he made a BLT for me. We now ONLY make them this way! I hope you will enjoy it, too!

4 slices of toast (good bread is even better!)

1 avocado

2 roma (plum) tomatoes, sliced

4 slices of bacon, cooked

6 slices of fresh spinach

mayonnaise (optional)

pepper

Toast your bread, then spread "mashed" avocado on top of toast. Next add layers of spinach, then tomato, then bacon. If you would like mayonnaise, add it to the toast before the avocado.

AIMEE FORTNEY'S COUNTRY GIRL ORANGE MARGARITA

4 Tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate that has thawed (fresh juice can certainly be used)

1 shot of Triple Sec

2 shots of Tequila

crushed ice

slices of orange

kosher or sea salt

Place orange juice, Triple Sec, Tequila and crushed ice in a cocktail shaker or a mason jar. Shake, strain and serve either over ice or straight up. Take a lime wedge and run it over the edge of the glass or a small mason jar; dip glass into salt to coat the rim. Garnish with a slice of orange and enjoy!
