Country singer Merle Haggard has been hospitalized in Georgia.
He was set to perform in Macon on Tuesday night but was struck ill before the show and taken to a hospital.
His manager said Haggard has been sick for about a week but didn't give specifics on Haggard's condition.
Three shows have been canceled.
The 74-year-old Haggard is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.
His best known songs include Working Man Blues and Okie From Muskogee.
