Franklin Co. commissioner admits to prostitution charge

WINCHESTER, TN (WSMV) -

A Franklin county commissioner now admits he solicited a prostitute.

John Page pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor charge, according to the Herald Chronicle newspaper.

Investigators said Page went to a residence in Franklin County in October and offered a female money and a prescription drug, Xanax, in exchange for sex.

Page will serve six months probation.

He has not attended a public meeting since his arrest.
