CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Clarksville Police are investigating the deaths of two people who were found dead inside a home on Main Street Friday night as a double homicide.
Officers responded to a call at 10:30 p.m. that a man had been shot. When officers arrived they found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the home.
On Sunday police released the name of the male victim, 23-year-old Derrick Sherden. Authorities identified the female victim Saturday as Amanda Lea Weyand, 33. Police said both victims lived at the same Main Street address.
A gun was discovered inside the home but right now police aren't sure what exactly led to the shooting.
