Nashville rapper Young Buck faces liquidation

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville rapper Young Buck's financial troubles might force him to sell many of his possessions.

The rapper's bankruptcy case has been shifted from Chapter 11 reorganization case to Chapter 7 liquidation, according to the Wall Street Journal.

A trustee who spent months analyzing Young Buck's finances concluded he didn't have a viable chance at reorganizing his debt.

The report says his assets could be sold off, and the profits split up among his creditors.

Young Buck, whose real name is David Brown, can still ask the court to allow him to keep some belongings and release him from certain debts.

The rapper's creditors are set to discuss his financial problems during a hearing next month.
