People camp out for Chick-fil-A opening

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Chick-fil-A is delivering an early Christmas present to its consumers.

The newest location in west Nashville will open Thursday on Charlotte Pike, but there are fast food lovers who are already camping out to get their hands on some chicken.

The chain is giving away a year's supply of Chick-fil-A to the first 100 adults in line for the grand opening.

The restaurant is offering a free block party Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m., which features live performances, games, crafts, and free sandwiches.
