
Ingredients and supplies
2 packs of oreos
2 packages of philadelphia original cream cheese (8oz. ea)
milk chocolate - tempered over a double boiler
double boiler
blender or food processor
baking sheet x 2 with parchment paper
airtight container for storage
Steps
Using a blender or food processor - grind one packages of oreos at a time into small pieces. Store each package of ground oreos in separate containers
Add one package of ground oreos into a bowl and combine the 2 packages of cream cheese
Wearing gloves - use your hands to mix the oreos and cream cheese until they are mixed well together
Put the mixture in the fridge for 15 minutes
Take the mixture out of the fridge and using a spoon - take small amounts of the mix and roll them into a ball and place on a baking sheet with parchment paper
Dip the center in your tempered milk chocolate and immediately toss into the other container of ground oreos. Bury the truffle center so it is completely covered in ground oreos
Using your hands, gently pick the truffles out of the bowl of ground oreos and place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Store the finished product in a fridge after packaging them in an airtight container
