Posted: Updated:
FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

Police and city officials in Franklin are investigating several recent cases of vandalism in several city parks.

Police say the vandalism includes things like graffiti and stolen signs that were intended to warn others of danger.

The parks affected include Fort Granger Park, Jim Warren Park and Pinkerton Park, where Tuesday morning, several engraved bricks honoring donors who helped to build a playground were broken.

Franklin police have increased regular patrols around the city's parks in an effort to find those responsible for the vandalism.

Anyone with information that helps lead to an arrest in these cases can earn up to a $1,000 reward by calling Crime Stoppers at (615) 794-4000.
